Quilted Maple (also known as Flame Maple) reveals a quilt-like effect of dark and light patches overlaying its woodgrain. Seriously though, I walmost went with quilted on my 615ce but the upcharge was a little too much for my budget at the time. Now I wouldn't likely buy another Epiphone, but I am a huge fan of the quilted maple look. Don't think so. AAA flame tops are very nice, they will take your breath away.
